Inspired by shimmering ocean colours, Merman shifts between aqua, turquoise and pearl depending on how the light hits it. Its iridescent finish gives this Studio Jock a little bit of magic—and a lot of personality.

Each piece is handmade in Canada in small quantities, because the best things don’t need to be mass-produced.

Designed and handcrafted by Boys, Such Tees!, Merman combines a supportive athletic silhouette with an eye-catching iridescent vinyl finish. The soft elastic waistband and supportive front pouch keep the fit comfortable, while the colour-shifting finish does all the talking.

Every piece is individually cut, sewn and finished in my Gatineau studio.

Whether you’re poolside, getting ready for a night out, celebrating Pride, or simply feeling a little more adventurous, Merman was made for anyone who likes their underwear with a little extra shine.

The Story Behind Merman

Every Studio Jock starts with a fabric that sparks an idea.

When I saw this iridescent aqua finish, I immediately thought of sunlight hitting the surface of the ocean—and, of course, a little bit of mermaid magic.

Merman was created to capture that feeling.

The colour shifts as you move, revealing different shades of aqua, turquoise and pearl depending on the light. It’s playful, unexpected and impossible to completely capture in a photograph—which is part of what makes it so much fun to wear.

Each Merman jock is handmade in my Gatineau studio in a strictly limited quantity.

When this edition sells out, Merman will be retired and become part of the Boys, Such Tees! archive, making room for the next limited-edition design.
